When I was 13 years old, I contracted viral encephalitis. Before I got sick, I played baseball, soccer, and a little bit of football. Also, I was very agile with my bicycle. As you can imagine, going from being very physical to being very physically limited, was very traumatic. Clearly, I have had many challenges up to this point, but I have always come out on top.
Now, the misconception of being a quadriplegic is, you might assume, I am paralyzed, which is definitely not the case. This concept is a common misunderstanding of people in similar conditions such as I am.
There are many reasons or conditions, a person could be in a chair, but if they were paralyzed, it could be for a variety of accidents, which I did not have. If this unfortunate thing happens, they would most likely be paralyzed or have partial paralysis.
Now, my life is superb, because I have the love of GOD, and my life is better than it ever could be...even if this would have never happened!
I have had the privilege going to other countries, such as Mexico, Korea, and Japan...which was TOTALLY AWESOME! The country I most want to see is Australia; but, I will be there someday.
God has been extremely good to me for a variety of reasons. HE has surrounded me with spiritual disciples, great friends, and Godly women...which will let you know if you are lacking in an area...which builds great character and brings out better qualities...as a man of God!
